PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK MELALUI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNINGUNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SUBTEMA MANFAAT ENERGI

Abstract


This study aims to improve the learning process and outcomes of energy’s benefits subtheme. Use Classroom Action Research design carried out collaboratively and two cycles. The subject of this study was the fourth grade students of Cigombong 01 Elementary school which consisted of 36 students. The study was conducted in the odd semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The results showed that the average assesment of learning processs improvment in the I cycle reached 74.4 and the II cycle 83.5, the observation change of student’s attitude in the I cycle were 62.72 and the II cycle 82.74, the observation change of student’s skill in the I cycle were 65.38 and the II cycle 81,99. The completeness of learning outcomes in the I cycle obtained a percentage of 69% and the II cycle 86%. Based on the results of these study, it can be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach through Discovery Learning model can improve the learning process and outcomes aspects of knowledge, attitude, and skills in energy’s benefits subtheme.
