ANALISIS LITERASI INFORMASI BERBASIS PERPUSTAKAAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The purpose of this research describes finding something in condution information literacy which is conduction in SD Pertiwi Bogor city.  This  research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Procedure of collecting data is conducted through observation, interview and documentation. Analysis data technique is conducted by reduction, data presentation and verification (conclusion). This research use credibilty test, tranferabiilty, depandabilty and confirmation to get valid data. The participant of this research is student of 5th grade, teacher, librarian and headmaster. This research conducted in the odd semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The result of this research shows that SD Pertiwi is a school that held information literacy to increse student’s awareness. Conducting information literacy is able to increase student’s independency in finding and using information from the resources with they have read for problem solving needs. Library is one succesful factors in conducting information literacy. Library is a source of information that have a role to give students information through books collection that handle by school’s librarian. Information literacy has benefits to make student’s independence in long life process and through information literacy, it can make students interested in reading
