General Requirements</strong></p><p>The minimum standard requirements of Journal of English Teaching and Linguistics Studies (JET Li) must be</p><ol start="1"><li>Written in <strong>English</strong>.</li><li>The author\'s name should be accompanied by a complete affiliation address and corresponding email.</li><li>The length of the submitted paper is at least <strong>6 pages and no more than 12 pages</strong>. Structure of The Manuscript</strong></p><p>The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:</p><ol><li><strong>Title.</strong> The title of paper typing in sentence case, without Acronym or abbreviation, case study</li><li><strong>Abstract.</strong> Written briefly in English and Indonesian in one paragraph of <strong>150-200 WORDS</strong>; <strong>No citation</strong>; State in the abstract a<strong> primary objective</strong>, <strong>research design</strong>, <strong>methodology</strong>, <strong>main outcomes, and results</strong>, and <strong>the conclusions</strong>.</li><li><strong>Section structure</strong>. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure:<strong> </strong></li></ol><ul><li><strong>Introduction. </strong>Here, provide an adequate background to show the gap of the research. The section headings are written in bold and 11 pt Century Gothic, 1.15 spacing. Paragraphs shall be 1.15-spaced with indent. All introductions should be presented in the forms of paragraphs, not pointers, and with the proportion of 15-20% of the whole article length.</li><li><strong>Research Methodology. </strong>The Research Methods section describes in detail how the study was conducted. A complete description of the methods used enables the reader to evaluate the appropriateness of the research methodology. The Participants/Subject/Population and Sample used in the study should be stated. What, how, to whom the instruments used in the study should be explained. How the data was analyzed in the study should be described.</li><li><strong>Research Findings. </strong>In the Research  Findings section, summarize the collected data and the analysis performed on those data relevant to the issue that is to follow. The Findings should be clear and concise. It should be written objectively and factually, and without expressing personal opinion. It includes numbers, tables, and figures (e.g., charts and graphs).</li><li><strong>Discussion. </strong>This section should explore the significance of the results of the study. A combined Findings and Discussion section is also appropriate. This section allows you to offer your interpretation and explain the meaning of your results. Emphasize any theoretical or practical consequences of the results. The Discussion section should be a reasoned and justifiable commentary on the importance of your findings. This section states why the problem is important; what larger issues and what propositions are confirmed or disconfirmed by the extrapolation of these findings to such overarching issues.</li><li><strong>Conclusion and Suggestion. </strong>The main conclusions of the study should be presented in a short Conclusions section. Do not repeat earlier sections. Limitations of your study should be addressed. Recommendations for future research related to your topic should also be mentioned.</li><li><strong>References</strong>. Manuscript submitted to Journal of English Teaching and Linguistics Studies (JET Li) should conform to APA 7 style for citations and references. Some referencing tools, such as Zotero and Mendeley are advisable to utilize. It is advisable to use current journal articles from Web of Science/Scopus indexed journals as reference sources, rather than books or proceedings. It represents the last chance for the author to make any substantial changes to the text because the next stage is restricted to typos and formatting corrections. The file to be copyedited is in Word or .rtf format and therefore can easily be edited as a word processing document. The set of instructions displayed here proposes two approaches to copyediting. One is based on Microsoft Word\'s Track Changes feature and requires that the copy editor, editor, and author have access to this program. A second system, which is software independent, has been borrowed, with permission, from the Harvard Educational Review. The journal editor is in a position to modify these instructions, so suggestions can be made to improve the process for this journal.<h4>Copyediting Systems</h4><strong>1. Microsoft Word\'s Track Changes</strong> Under Tools in the menu bar, the feature Track Changes enables the copy editor to make insertions (text appears in color) and deletions (text appears crossed out in color or in the margins as deleted). The copy editor can posit queries to both the author (Author Queries) and to the editor (Editor Queries) by inserting these queries in square brackets. The copyedited version is then uploaded, and the editor is notified. The editor then reviews the text and notifies the author. The editor and author should leave those changes with which they are satisfied. If further changes are necessary, the editor and author can make changes to the initial insertions or deletions, as well as make new insertions or deletions elsewhere in the text. Authors and editors should respond to each of the queries addressed to them, with responses placed inside the square brackets. After the text has been reviewed by editor and author, the copy editor will make a final pass over the text accepting the changes in preparation for the layout and galley stage. <strong>2. Harvard Educational Review </strong> <strong>Instructions for Making Electronic Revisions to the Manuscript</strong> Please follow the following protocol for making electronic revisions to your manuscript: <strong>Responding to suggested changes.</strong>   For each of the suggested changes that you accept, unbold the text.   For each of the suggested changes that you do not accept, re-enter the original text and <strong>bold</strong> it. <strong>Making additions and deletions.</strong>   Indicate additions by <strong>bolding</strong> the new text.   Replace deleted sections with: <strong>[deleted text]</strong>.   If you delete one or more sentence, please indicate with a note, e.g., <strong>[deleted 2 sentences]</strong>. <strong>Responding to Queries to the Author (QAs).</strong>   Keep all QAs intact and bolded within the text. Once the initial edit is complete, the copy editor will upload the revised document through the journal Web site and notify the author that the edited manuscript is available for review.</li><li><strong>Author copyedit.</strong> Before making dramatic departures from the structure and organization of the edited manuscript, authors must check in with the editors who are co-chairing the piece. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.</p><p> </p><h2>Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication</h2><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed of Journal of English Language Studies is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society.</p><p> </p><p>English Language Education Study Program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences Universitas Pakuan takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities.
