Analisa Surface Plasmon Polariton (SPR) pada Rod Metal Menggunakan Metode Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD)

Abstract


Simulasi perambatan gelombang elektromagnetik telah dilakukan pada rodmetal (metallic rod) menggunakan metode Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD).Untuk polarisasi transverse electric (TE) terlihat adanya fenomena Surface Plasmon Polariton (SPR) pada permukaaan rod. Variasi diameter rod dillakukan untuk melihat panjang gelombang resonansi terjadinya fenomena tersebut. Sebagai pembanding, jika rod diganti dengan bahan dielektrik fenomena surface plasmon tidak terjadi.
