ANALISIS PENERAPAN PROGRAM PEMBINAAN KESISWAAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in competitiveness of students through the application of student development programs in SMAIT Insantama Bogor. Facing globalization era, it means the condition with a variety of challenges, schools should prepare their graduates to compete in a healthy manner. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection methods through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of the 113 questionnaire responses from 211 students showed that there was relevance between the school's vision and the implementation of student development programs, students also felt the significant benefits of the program, including; encourage students to become future leaders (13.3%), influence and benefit students (10.6%), developing student skills (7.9%). Based on the benefit analysis perceived by students that most students feel compelled to become future leaders. This is in accordance with the vision of the school that is, the school of prospective leaders. From the compatibility of the vision with the implementation of the program, the student coaching program at SMAIT Insantama deserves to be a role model in the application of student coaching.
