KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI DALAM KONTEKS KETERAMPILAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The purpose of this presentation was to describe high-level thinking skills related to desk writing skills in elementary school students. High-level thinking ability is a dimension developed in the cognitive domain as well as Bloom's development which was revised by Anderson and Krathwohl in 2001. The cognitive domain is divided into two assumptions, namely the cognitive dimension and the cognitive process dimension. The cognitive dimension consists of: (1) conceptual knowledge; (2) factual; (3) procedural; (4) metacognitive. The dimensions of the cognitive process itself consist of: (1) remembering; (2) understand; (3) apply; (4) analyze; (5) evaluate; (6) creating. The high level thinking dimension is the division of dimensions of cognitive processes which are in the fourth to sixth levels. Description writing skills are concrete operational efforts for developing and optimizing high-level thinking skills. Description writing skills are a form of activity to express ideas and ideas through the use of symbols, symbols, graphics to be understood by others as readers. The description writing skill is a form of activity carried out in the context of writing through an effort to describe or explain an object that is explained in a concrete and easily perceived manner.
