Development Of Treasure Kids Smart (Tks) Learning Media To Improve The Calculating Skills Of Students In Grade V Sdn Cikokol Iii, Tangerang City
Abstract
This research aims to develop a learning media called Treasure Kids Smart (TKS) to improve the arithmetic skills of fifth grade students at SDN Cikokol III in Tangerang City. The TKS media is designed to resemble a monopoly game that includes decimal number material, making learning more enjoyable and meaningful. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The final product includes a game board, pieces, dice, question cards, play money, and a guidebook. Expert validation from material experts, media experts, and teachers shows that the TKS media is highly suitable for use. Trials conducted with students show a significant improvement in understanding decimal concepts as well as student motivation. Thus, TKS learning media can be an innovative solution in supporting more effective, engaging, and appropriate mathematics learning. Thus, the TKS learning media can be an innovative solution to support more effective, engaging mathematics learning that is in line with the characteristics of primary school students.
