Abstract

Rainfall is one of the key factors affecting climate and weather conditions, especially in tropical regions such as Central Kalimantan. This study aims to analyze and predict monthly rainfall in the regions of Buntok, Muara Teweh, and Palangka Raya using the multiple linear regression method. The data used in this study includes rainfall as the dependent variable, and air humidity as the independent variable. The analysis results show a significant relationship between rainfall in these three regions and air humidity. The resulting multiple linear regression model provides fairly accurate predictions, with regression coefficients indicating the contribution of each variable to rainfall. These predictions are expected to be useful for disaster risk management, urban planning, and water resource management in Central Kalimantan.
