Author Guidelines

Read the instruction below carefully:

  1. General requirement

  • Minimum standard of JBER guideline must be fulfilled.

  • The manuscript should be written in English. 

  • Author name is completed with affiliation address and suitable email.

  • Minimum 6 pages of manuscript and no more than 12 pages. It will be evaluated by Editor if needed more than 12 pages.

  • Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote are used for reference management. Choose APA style.

  • Use JBER template for your manuscript.

  1. Manuscript

Prepare your manuscript and follow the order format as shown below:

  • Title 

Title is a sentence, a case study, and without acronym

  • Abstract

It must be written both in English and Bahasa Indonesia briefly (150-200 words). Moreover, it is containing aim, research design, method, result, and conclusion. It prohibits to cite any references here.   

  • Content structure

Author is suggested to present the article as follow: introduction method-result and discussion-conclusion-acknowledgement-reference. 

  • Reference

References should contain minimum 15 citations which 80% from international and/ or national journal articles and 20% from another resources.

After completing the template and fulfill the author guideline, manuscript can be submitted. Make sure you do the register first as author.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
