MODEL WAKTU TUNGGU KENDARAAN DI PERSIMPANGAN LALU LINTAS MENGGUNAKAN DISTRIBUSI COMPOUND POISSON ARRIVALS

Abstract


This study aims to apply mathematical models of traffic conditions at crossroads and determine the length of waiting times for vehicles with compound poissson distribution arrival patterns as well as determine the length of the green light phase and red light phase so that reduce traffic congestion at intersections. The data used is data from the Bogor Highway Transport Traffic Agency (DLLAJR) in 2017.  The initial stage of analysis is to divide the waiting time of the vehicle into 2 phases, namely the red light phase and the green light phase. After that apply the Compound Poissson distribution model for the red light phase and the green light phase, then determine the vehicle's waiting time. The next step is the application and simulation of one-cycle vehicle waiting time on Simpang Yasmin road. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the waiting time for vehicles in Simpang Yasmin is 80 seconds for each cycle. Simulation produced on the road section in Simpang Yasmin namely Jl. K. H. Sholeh Iskandar (west) for 28 seconds green light time, Jl. K. H Sholeh Iskandar (east) for 16 seconds green light time, and Jl. K. H. Abdullah bin Nuh for 27 seconds green light time.
