Analysis Of The Potential Of Education And Environmental Health On The Existence Of Deer Park Recreational Tourism In Supporting Regional Facilities In Sekupang District, Batam City

Abstract


City parks are places where people can participate in outdoor activities, socialize, have fun, enjoy and relax, and show the character of the city. Sekupang Deer Park in Batam City is a popular recreational tourist destination. The park has many deer that visitors can see and interact with. Apart from that, this park also has various facilities such as a children's playground, picnic area and jogging track. Sekupang Deer Park attracts the attention of not only local tourists, but also attracts interest from tourists from all over Indonesia. Sekupang Deer Park in Batam City has great educational and environmental health potential for tourists. Based on data from the Batam City Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the area of Sekupang District is 68.30 km², with a population in 2022 of 172,347 people, and a density of 2,514 people/km². This research aims to develop the potential influence of education and environmental health on the influence of Deer Park recreational tourism in Sekupang District, Batam City. The method used is quantitative descriptive with survey techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires from 80 respondents visiting Sekupang Deer Park. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression testing. The multiple linear regression model is a mathematical equation that shows the relationship between two or more independent variables (X1, X2, ... Xn) and one dependent variable (Y). The results of this research can be seen in the normality test, it is said that the data has a normal distribution, testmulticollinearity means that there is no multicollinearity in the data. The R Square test shows that Education (X1) and Environmental Health (X2) influence Recreational Tourism (Y) by 53.7%.The F test shows that Education (X1) and Environmental Health (X2) have a significant effect on Recreational Tourism (Y). In testing the multiple linear regression test, it shows thatEducation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Recreational Tourism (Y) and Environmental Health (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Recreational Tourism (Y).
