Copyright and License Statement

Copyright and Licensing Policy

  1. Copyright
The copyright of each article published in Pakuan Law Review (PALAR) remains entirely with the authors. The journal does not claim exclusive rights over published articles but retains a non-exclusive right to distribute and archive the articles within the journal system, indexing platforms, and other repositories.

  2. License
All articles in PALAR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. Under this license:

    • Third parties are allowed to copy, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the article, provided that:

      1. Proper attribution is given to the author by including the author’s name, article title, journal name (Pakuan Law Review), volume, issue, year of publication, and DOI.

      2. The article is not used for commercial purposes.

      3. Any derivative works must be licensed under the same CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

  3. Publication Statement
By submitting an article to PALAR, the author agrees that the article:

    • Will be published under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license and made available through open access at no cost.

    • Can be archived by the author in institutional repositories, academic social networks, or personal websites, as long as proper publication details in PALAR are cited.

    • PALAR does not impose restrictions on authors distributing their work, as long as appropriate attribution is provided.

  4. Copyright Statement in Publications
To avoid any misunderstanding, PALAR does not include a "Copyright (c) PALAR" statement in published articles. Instead, articles will only display the following license statement:

"This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License."
